First Copy IT are now part of the Xeretec Group. And with over thirty years in the industry (and customers who have been with us throughout!), we supply businesses, schools and charities with multifunction printers and presses, managed services and hybrid working document solutions.

We have customers that have partnered with us through three decades! One reason is because of our MPS helpdesk. We answer the phone within five seconds during opening hours, as part of our service level agreement.

When you call us, you’ll be put through to the same person. That way, you don’t have to repeat yourself or hold.

Of course, sometimes there are technical difficulties, but it’s the way we deal with them that sets us apart. We can remote fix problems and contact Xerox engineers to reach you on-site.

Our helpdesk is in our HQ at Cambridge. We have analysts based across East Anglia who can travel to you when needed. Increasingly, remote fixes can be performed in minutes.

Unlike many of our competitors, we have in-house analysts and an in-house helpdesk. Our team is even trusted to despatch its own calls for engineers!

We have specialist analysts for offices and production print environments. Our analysts are constantly learning and building their knowledge, exceeding industry expectations from Xerox and other partners, including EFI Fiery.

Many of our analysts have been with us for more than a decade. If they don’t have the answers to your questions, they will know where to find them.

Our analysts will be available throughout your contract. They can also advise you if you are not already a First Copy customer.

We provide the full range of Xerox equipment. Our Gold status allows us to offer the largest production presses like the Iridesse and Baltoro.

We also offer software and services, including Xerox’s market-leading Managed Print Services and cutting-edge digital and inkjet devices.

In addition, we work with solutions providers, including PaperCut, and finishing partners such as Duplo and Plockmatic Group.

FCC Innovation was our office brand. However, in 2023, we reunited FCC Innovation with First Copy, bringing all our products and services under one name.

For the five years before 2023, FCC Innovation was a trading name of the registered company: First Copy Corporation Ltd.

For those five years (2018-2023), the brand First Copy was only used to represent production/graphic arts devices.

In July 2025, First Copy was acquired by Xeretec Group, and has rebranded as First Copy IT.

  • Our in-house analysts have decades of print industry experience and are trained over and above the expected standards. Not all production partners can offer the same.

  • The analysts can discuss issues with Xerox engineers directly to find solutions and troubleshoot design and production problems for you.

  • Our account managers and analysts are available throughout our partnership to advise on solutions and equipment to build your business.

In any long-term relationship, there could be hiccups. As a business, we think it’s the way we deal with them that matters. We put our customers first throughout their contracts, not just at installation time – it’s why we’ve remained successful for more than thirty years.

First Copy began as a pioneer of the Xerox Concessionaire Channel in the UK in 1991 – we can’t believe that was more than 30 years ago, either!

First Copy is, and always has been, a Xerox mono-branded partner.

First Copy became First Copy IT in July 2025, after being acquired by Xeretec Group.

In January 2023, we refreshed our brand.

We updated the ‘dot’ colours in our logo to navy, magenta, and lime. We took inspiration from our former logo colours (green) as well as the colours of our printer engines (blue) and the toners they house (magenta). 

‘Copy’ originally stood for the the printed page, but now it stands for much more: digital copies, audio copies, secure copies, translated copies… the list is endless.
