Move over, Xerox C405! Introducing the Xerox VersaLink C415, its mono sibling the B415, and their larger cousin, the C625.
Read on for all the details on this triple product launch as Xerox overhauls its A4 offering to suit small and hybrid work groups better and meet today’s demands for sizing, security, sustainability and flexibility.
Why is Xerox launching new A4 MFPs?
We know that the workplace has changed. Teams are not all in a single office together all the time. Our networks are ‘always on’, and expectations around sustainability and security are ever-increasing. New products must suit new and evolving ways of working, and Xerox has designed these models with the future in mind.
The new models are more flexible, suit smaller office spaces, scan faster and offer an even bigger touchscreen for a better experience. What’s more, they are more sustainable, and the underlying software has been updated. All Xerox models are built with stringent security features included as standard, not as optional extras.
What’s new across these VersaLink devices?
We’ve been saying for a long time that printers are no longer just printers. Now styled ‘Workplace Assistants’, they bridge the digital and physical so that you can use and transform documents of any kind at the touch of a button.
Besides being smaller, faster and lighter with a larger touchscreen, Xerox has built these VersaLinks on the same platform as our best-selling Xerox AltaLink 8100 Series to provide a coherent user experience across all your multifunction printers.
The strengths of this architecture are many. Alongside key considerations of security, cloud and mobile readiness, as well as Managed Print Services integration, you can do simple things such as customising the screens across your whole fleet. What’s more, you can access all the benefits of ConnectKey technology and the multitude of one-touch apps it enables across the VersaLink and AltaLink ranges.
For administrators, the new models come with deployment and management options you’d expect for larger rollouts, including Fleet Orchestrator and the Xerox Printer Security Audit Service, with synchronised feature updates and content releases. In addition, the free Xerox Easy Assist App guides you through installation, management and monitoring of your printer. You can access CareAR support through the Easy Assist App, and you also have access to sustainability information for environmental reporting.

Xerox VersaLink C415 and B415 Workplace Assistants (MFPs)
The new 415s, available in colour or black and white, replace some of the most popular devices in UK offices, Xerox’s VersaLinks C405 and B405.
The old versions have been popular with our customers because they complement larger machines as part of a streamlined fleet. As a smaller A4 product, the series is suitable for hybrid workers – some of the First Copy team have them in their home offices, too!
We expect the 415s to fulfil a similar role but are pleased to see some significant improvements that mean the devices have gone 1 better (!) For example, the touchscreen is bigger, the memory is larger, the print and scan speeds are (much) faster, and the C415 printer is almost 6kg lighter than the C405.
If your smaller office needs an A4 device that can handle multiple hardcopy and digital workflows without compromising on work space, consider the 415.
