What about recycling?
Xerox is committed to responsible and environmental business practices and it has been recycling consumables for more than 20 years. Through the Xerox Green World Alliance, printer supplies are recycled, keeping thousands of tonnes of consumables and supplies out of landfill. Xerox leads in the industry in print cartridge reprocessing, waste toner reuse, plastics and metal recovery. In 2019, it made nearly 2 million Xerox toner cartridges using recovered materials – 50% of its total production, with plans to go even further.
Customers can choose from two recycling options for their Xerox supplies:
ECOBOX RETURNS
This is the best option if you have more than five items to return for recycling. Request delivery of empty eco boxes and/or a collection here. In 2021, a new app was released for Ecobox and single-item returns, making it even simpler to return consumables.
SINGLE-ITEM RETURNS
When returning a used cartridge, place it into the bag the new cartridge came in, seal it in with tape and then package it into the box the new cartridge came in. Use the form on the Xerox website to print a return label.
